Day 1: Londorossi Gate to Mti Mkubwa Camp
Drive from Moshi to Londorossi Gate (2,100m)
Trek through rainforest to Mti Mkubwa (Big Tree) Camp (2,650m)
Approx. 3–4 hours of hiking
Meals: Lunch, Dinner
Day 2: Mti Mkubwa to Shira 1 Camp
Steep climb through forest and into moorland
Arrive at Shira 1 Camp (3,610m) on the plateau
Approx. 5–6 hours of hiking

Day 3: Shira 1 to Shira 2 Camp
Explore the vast Shira Plateau
Gentle hike to Shira 2 Camp (3,850m) with views of Kibo Peak

Day 4: Shira 2 to Barranco Camp (via Lava Tower)
